On 18 August, FATKITTY (Fat Kitty) welcomed partner buyers for an on-site visit to its production base. Accompanied by the factory team, the visitors toured the production workshop, sample display area, and finished-goods warehouse in turn. They reviewed the full chain of tofu cat litter — from raw materials and forming through packing to outbound shipment — and confirmed details such as pellet size, scent, bag format, and private-label packaging face to face.
FATKITTY is the cat litter brand of Fatcat (Tianjin) Pets Supplies Co., Ltd. Founded in 2016, the company focuses on the manufacture and export of tofu cat litter and bentonite cat litter, providing one-stop OEM/ODM solutions for importers, distributors, and brand owners worldwide. A buyer’s willingness to walk the factory floor is itself the most direct test of delivery capability — whether samples can be produced at scale, whether packing can be executed to artwork, and whether warehouse stock matches the order all need to be seen clearly on site.
On the production floor: hoppers, lines, and shop-floor management at a glance
The visit began in the production workshop. The plant is well lit and clearly zoned, with management signs such as “Quality First” and “Safety First” visible on the walls. Staff walked the group through the process from dosing and forming to packing, using hoppers No. 1, 2, and 3 and the conveyor system beneath them to explain how raw materials are fed, mixed, and formed — and how dust, clump consistency, and pellet integrity are controlled in bulk production.

Inside the workshop, raw-material bulk bags were stacked neatly, and packing equipment ran in sync with finished bags. Buyers asked about capacity pacing, lead-time arrangements, and batch consistency; the factory team answered on the spot. For importers and private-label buyers, a factory visit is more than a photo stop: whether the line is running, whether standards are visible on the floor, and whether questions can be answered immediately often carry more weight than a brochure.

At the sample table — see it, feel it: scent, pellet size, and clumping tested on the spot
The group then moved to the sample area. On the table were multiple tofu cat litter samples — original, honey peach, lemon, green tea, and mixed-color blends — with pellet shape, color, and scent clear at a glance. Buyers handled the pellets, checked the cross-section, and used a water absorption test to feel absorption speed and clump strength firsthand. This is the part a remote photo cannot replace — you cannot smell it or squeeze it on a screen — and one of the highest-value moments of a factory visit.

Discussion then locked onto executable specifications. Against the product spec sheet, the parties confirmed parameters such as Line 1 original, Grade A, 1.5 mm pellet size, and pellet length of approximately 2.0–5.0 cm, and discussed scent directions including honey peach, lemon, and green tea, as well as common market options such as white tea, original, yuzu, and milk. Buyers checked each item against the specification table on a laptop, leaving a written basis for subsequent sampling, artwork review, and ordering — reducing the common risk of “sample A, bulk B”.

Finished-goods warehouse inspection: carton specs, bag faces, and private-label packing checked face to face
In the finished-goods and semi-finished areas, buyers inspected packed tofu cat litter. Outbound formats such as 6 L × 6 bags were visible on site, with outer cartons marked for scent options including original, white tea, and yuzu. The factory presented retail bags for different markets and customer-brand packing samples. Both sides checked bag-face information, multi-language copy, carton shipping marks, and outer-carton allocation — moving from “is the formula right?” to “is that carton in the container right?”

FATKITTY noted that tofu cat litter can be customized by channel for scent, pellet size, bag weight, and multi-language packing. A factory visit answers “can you make it, what will it look like, and how will it be loaded?” in one go — saving more time than rounds of email.
Group photo: turning factory capability into the next deliverable order
After the visit, both sides took a group photo in the reception room. FATKITTY welcomes more importers, distributors, and brand owners to the factory: share the target market, channel, bag format, and artwork files first, then confirm against samples and the production line — so the first container and the next shipments stay more consistent.

FATKITTY insists on food-grade plant materials and does not add unnecessary chemicals. Tofu cat litter is positioned for fast clumping, low dust, and flushable use, with OEM options including coffee, green tea, lavender, peach, milk, activated charcoal, and mixed scents. Annual capacity exceeds 50,000 tons, with products shipped to multiple countries and regions.
